Information for attendees

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION/CHECK-IN:

Registration/check-in will begin at 9:00AM on Tuesday, May 9th, located at the conference registration desk by Oceans Ballroom and will remain open until 7:00PM on Tuesday. The registration desk will open again on Wednesday, May 10th at 8AM and stay open to help assist through the end of the conference on Friday, May 12th at 12PM.

CONFERENCE AGENDA:

The current conference agenda can be found here. A digital program book will be shared before the conference starts containing all of the main presentation abstracts.  

 

TRANSPORTATION:

Please note that all attendees will be responsible for their own transportation to the main conference hotel whether flying, driving, or staying at an offsite location. Recommendations for transportation options and average trip costs here as well as a general map to Hammock Beach. I have has also shared contact information with different groups indicating which airport they are flying into to be able to directly connect to share any similar flight information and coordinate ride sharing directly.

 

FOOD:

Conference registration includes Light Breakfast + Coffee, Morning Coffee Breaks + Snacks, and Afternoon Beverages + Snacks on Tuesday & Wednesday, as well as the Tuesday Networking Reception + 1st Poster session. All other meals will need to be covered on your own. The main conference venue has several different restaurants/grab and go options for dining and all of the main hotel rooms have a small kitchen/amenities if you were needing to store/heat up meals. There is also a Publix Supermarket 1.2 miles from Hammock Beach, as well as other convenience stores/shops..

 

NETWORKING RECEPTION:

Join us for the Networking Reception + 1st Poster Session on Tuesday 5/9 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM following Day 1 of the conference! Heavy hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be provided.

 

POSTER PRESENTATIONS:

If you are presenting a poster, please note that the poster boards are 4ft tall x 6ft wide. You will be responsible for printing your own poster, bringing it to the conference, and hanging up your poster on the numbered board you will be assigned prior to the poster session. The assigned poster numbers and presentation day is attached in this email. Please make note of your presentation day. You can plan to be stationed at your poster for 2 hour and we will provide push pins on each board to hang up your poster. You will also be responsible for taking your poster down after the 2nd poster session ends on Wednesday 5/10 at 4PM.
